Default 98 Roush: Rear end problems

I THINK ITS THE REAR END! Ok this is what happened....

my friends 98 roush stage II drumped his clutch at 5k.

a HUGE poping noise happened. and now his car drives jerky threw his gears. like the RPMs would go up as if the clutch wasn't engaged and then it would pick back up and be really jerky.

I THINK its the T-lock problem. but iam not 100% sure. but there was some weird noises going on in the driver side of the car. in the rear. like as if a lug nut poped off or something.

what do you guys think is wrong with the car?

the jerking sounds like he cracked the fly wheel to me.

i would jack it up and check that wheel to see if there is any thing wrong on that side i don't see a lug breaking thats fairly rare on a street car.

Probably not the rear but if you really think it is get the *** end up on jack stands and pin the tire a bunch of times...see if it binds up in any one place of theres something unusual like that.

Check the clutch out... If it seems like its engaging and then not engaging check out the pressure plate. Doubt it would be the rear end.
