Yeah I'm all ready havin a problem with the speedo bein off with the 3.73's. I am gettina special programmer that adjusts the computer to fix the speedo with the gears I put on it of if I keep the 3.73's

I don't have gears so I know I will get hazed for this, I finally met someone in my area that has a GT with mods and he has 3:73's in an auto, you almost can't tell with that kind of highway driving. Almost stock at 65mph, but pulls hard in low speeds. If you really want performance in low end go with 4:10's, in an auto I wouldn't think twice about it after riding in one with 3:73's. I have a manual and I still hear that manual should go 3:73's, but on this website everyone screams 4:10's or nothing and like nanaki screams, I'm only doing this once so I don't want to spend the 500 and then be disappointed.

3.73 at 70 MPH in 5 gear = 2,118.8 RPM
4.10 at 70 MPH in 5 gear = 2,329.0 RPM

OMG 200 RPM WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE !!

I know, I used the calculator also, and that is why I wanted 4:10's but then people started saying that thing is off, so I don't know what to believe, I want to find someone in my area that already has gears that way I can just find out for myself.

I cruise on the highway too, so don't use that as an excuse. 200rpms WILL NOT hurt your car! I mean, there are a ton of 4 cylinder vehicles out there that drive on the highway. Do you seem them sparatically blowing up! I've seen about 4 other posts from you about gears. Get the 4.10's be done with it, or go one step better & get the 4.30's. Otherwise, STOP ASKING THE SAME QUESTION!!!!!!!!!! You have already been told over & over what gear to get.

I'll end the 40 gear threads he's made and simply agree he needs 3.73's.

No matter how many times we recommend 4.10's and nothing less, he will not get'em!

GET 3.73's and SAVE US THE PAAAAAAAIN, THE HORRORRRRRR OF ANOTHER REPEAT GEAR THREAD OF YOURS!
