I think seat deletes are pretty sweet actually. I might do it pretty soon. I don't use my backseat and with a seat delete it would make it completely flat for my books and stuff.

no, it isn't carpeted under the back seat. um, i took out my back seat one time before. it doesn't weigh anything even remotely close to 55 pounds.

Thats what I was thinking. I called a rear seat delete company once to see how much I would save, and they were talking between 15 and 20 pounds, and their delete only wieghed like 5 pounds.

It competely isn't worth it. Unless you have the car totally stripped down and its just the last thing you need done, forget it.

15-20 lbs huh? man that sucks because I'm gonna gain A LOT more than I lose taking out the seats to fit the sub box....Well at least Ill have a little less weight than i would if i kept the seats and put my subs in a smaller box that fits in the trunk...

I took my back seat out and had a custom rear seat delete made... My seats are not reclineable so I kinda didnt have a choice... I attatched some pics...

My seats don't recline, so I could not get back there anyways, so I thought I would have the rear seat delete made...
