Default lowering springs

my goal this winter is to do some suspension/brake work to my stang. So far I am planning on doing kyb agx gas shocks and struts, cross drilled & slotted rotors, new brake pads, new tires, and paint my calipers red. While doing this i might as well lower the stang a little bit. What kind of lowering springs do you guys recommend...keep in mind i have 18x9 Saleen rims and want to be able to fit 255/40/18 tires in the front with 285/35/18 tires in the rear...

Steeda, Eibach Pro-Kit, Ford Racing C Springs. Anything up to 1.5 should be able to fit 18 inch rims. 2inch drop might be pushing it.

steedas are good, it lowers it about 1 and 3/8, around there. i think that amount is perfect, anything more is too low to be preactical but will look nice with Saleens for shure. the pics in my photo album and sig are stock springs

Eibach Pro Kit, 1.5" drop. That would be more than enough. I'm doing 1"-1.25" with the Ford Racing C-Springs on my 96. I don't want to encounter any problems with going any lower (Caster/Camber Plates and more expensive aftermarket Shocks/Struts & ****). You'll be happy with your work though, good luck.

ive got the eibach prokit and im as happy as a clam. i dont think it lowered it the full 1.5 tho...maybe closer to 1.3ish? i dunno. it gives it a nice aggressive look and i didnt hafta buy shocks/struts/camber/bumpsteer. just need an alignment.
