Yeah i see no problem hitting 400 rwhp with a n/a 4/6 4v GT. And a stroker would not be 4.6 and if its just 2v mod motors then go with the 5.4 stroked out to 350 ci and i bet you'd hit 400 rwhp without even trying. . .

I don't consider the intake a bolton for 4.6L.
You will see little or no gains on stock heads/cams/shortblock with the P-51 anyway. I have never heard of any decent gains on a stock motor.
I would consider (and most people with 4.6 do) boltons to be exhuast, intake, and u/d pulleys.
Mighty: If you port and polish the heads, and install cams, you are probably looking at around 300-315 RWHP on the stock shortblock. Replace the shortblock and with the right parts and a intake you can make 330-340 RWHP.
You will never hit anything close to 400 RWHP on a N/A 4.6L GT with any of the currently avaliable parts. MAYBE a high compression totalliy built stroker motor with aluminum aftermarket heads (if there ever are any) might hit 400 RWHP N/A.

alot of people forget that intake manifolds are bolt ons. and superchargers just bolt right on

This thread started in 2005... and we still yet to have seen any certified 400+ WHP n/a 2v car on the stock dispalcment, and you sure as hell will never see one that is anything even remotely close to streetable (and sure as hell not on 93 octane).

RE: 325 hp with bolt ons on 99-04 gt
I have done the following mods to my car: American thunder cat back, Bassani X-pipe, BBK fenderwell intake, SCT tune, trick flow under drive pulleys, and I'm guessing I have a little over 300 crank HP. Before the underdrive pulleys, and the SCT tune I had 232 to the wheels and the tech said their Dyno reads a couple percent lower than most Dynos. The tune made a huge difference. I can really feel it pull at higher RPM's.

I have about every bolton plus cams and im right around 290rwhp. Thats probably close to 325 at the crank. I cant see being there without cams. Basic boltons your probably gonna be 305-310hp at the crank tops...

Without headers no chance, your going to need around 260 WHP to make 300 at the fly, and thats just barely cracking 300.
