Default Exhaust Question

If I buy LT headers, do I need to purchase a short x pipe at the same time, to compensate the size difference?

unless you are going to run s/c, turbo, or nitrous, stick with a mid length or a shorty header. IMO go with the bassani mid length with the x-pipe match up. The bassani headers come with seperate collectors and seperate primaries - 10x easier to install. btw, whatever you end up getting, go with ceramic coated!!!

When I was considering headers, everyone on here suggested if I am getting headers to go with LT's, anything else wouldn't be worth it? How big of a difference is the size really?

^^ Exactly. Dont waste your money on any other type of headers. Long Tubes are a MUST for performance. Be sure to get them coated as well!
