sorry to hijack the thread, but..

what's a stall converter? (i have an auto, as well). and if i was planning to get a supercharger, should i not go with 4:10s then? what gears are ideal to compelement a S/C (and auto)?

a stall allows you to launch higher. its a looser converter that enables you to say launch at 4,000 rpms as oppose to the 1,400 rpms you stricted to launching at now. it also frees up horsepower that your auto takes away. makes it more equivalant to a stick maybe even a little better.
