yes.
hell, if you ever do any work on your tranny, you might as well get the cooler put in. they should come with one from the factory. it'll help your tranny run a looooong time. heat is the #11 enemy of trannies.

stall is when an auto is able to rev higher before shifting to the next gear, high stall is great for the track, but bad for a daily driver. I dont know that much i have never needed to worry about that.

i ran a transgo shift kit in my 98 without a cooler and never had a problem by increasing line pressure via the kit my tranny never acted up in 96900 miles. 3.73 gears and a serious number of mods and i beat that car all the time with zero problems transgo shift kits are easy to install and i loved mine

I used a hot rod style tranny cooler it was rite about 100 bucks. I then needed some hose, hose clamps, little tool to cut metal tubing, and the little kit that flairs out tubing so the hose will go over and seal rite. I bought all this stuff for under 50 bucks at a hardware store. The major problems with trannys is over heating so even a stock auto would last longer if it had one. If your gonna play hard then for sure and of course after upgrades. Here is a pic of mine but I do belive that most people use different types and some with fans.

this is just a thought but if you are running 4.10s aren't you going to run out of RPMS by the time you get 4th gear, plus doesn't that also lower your top speed capability?
