Default caster and camber plates

not to familiar with all the functions c&c plates are capable of. the steeda ones say the strut height adjustable from 0.6" above to 0.3" below stock. does this mean you can lower or raise the front end of the car?

no, caster and camber plates are simple. Have you ever seen a car (my 97 GT would be a prime example) that has been lowered, and on the front two wheels it appears as if the bottoms are out farther than the top? Like the wheels are leaning? Well this car has not had a camber kit done with a suspension drop. When you lower a car, it changes the alignment angles from stock, so when you lower it, it is always a great idea to buy a camber kit to straighten out the wheels. It does not have much if any bearing on ride height. This just lets you re align the wheels with it being lowered to gain max. life out of your tires and get the best result from lowering your ride.

By the way I need this kit, and I just got done with a suspension class. Only problem in my way is a nice dollar sign. Anyone have a few money tree seeds I can buy?

hope I helped some

I'm not sure how much it's lowered, i'd estimate 2 to 2.5. I put on the saleen springs. It looks good, but i'd like to be able to raise the front just a little. is there any way of doing this?

mine was lowered 2" all around... so I need to invest in a caster/camber kit. I looked and the inner edges of my tires are wearing... son of a gun!! well the tires on all 4 are toast and the rims are kinda beat up too. I figure when I get new tires and/or rims i'll get the C&C kit as well.

yeah i definetly need c&c plates. the two front tires lean a little inward. does anyone have spring isolators? i just bought some for like $30 and the service guy told me that they would raise my front end up just a little like a quarter of an inch because they're alot more dense than the stock and won't be as compressed

no, there will be more noise, because the rubber that is where the strut ties in, will be replaced with metal. so there will be more metal to metal contatct. i have O/R X so i didn't really notice any more niose. the ride will probably get a little worse.
