I have a Centerforce Stage 2 Dual Friction in mine and the clutch has an amazing feel, definatly a little firm, but not hard at all. If it's extremley hard you should get it checked out...

It won't lighten up that much. If it is colder outside, that will make it feel heavier til it warms up. I am so used to heavy clutches in mustangs that when I drive a stock one, I have to re-get used to the 'superlight' feel provided from the ford factory.

Did you replace the throw out bearing when you did the clutch?

yea, i know what the throwout bearing squeal sounds like. the shop put on the one that came with my clutch kit. this is def coming from the interior...its a pretty deep squeaking sound, and its only when i am pressing in the pedal or releasing it.

Definitely the throwout bearing. I'd take it back to the place that did the install and tell them you have a faulty throwout bearing, and they should fix it for free. You don't have a manual cable on there, do ya?
