help my front end is too low!!!!!!!!!!!
i installed saleen racecraft springs the other day. the advertised drop is 1.5, but it dropped so much that theres only a 1/4 of an inch between the tire and fender. i've looked at other pics of these springs and nobody's is as low as mine. i want to raise it up a little, what can i do. i'm considering switching out the front springs to something else, but i'd rather not. it looks good but i want another 1/2 inch of clearance or so. would spring isolators work? any suggestions would be appreciated

unless you cut the springs or installed them incorrect. there is no way that you only have .25" of clearance. a mustang has like 4" or tire gap stock. and if you only droped it 1.5" you should be at about 2.5" not .25". and you already asked about the isolators yes the will help aslong as there is not any in there right now. did you cut the springs? or heat them.

if the shop installed them incorrect how would i know? wouldn't it ride like ****? i don't know much about suspension but i really think something is wrong here. i've looked at pics of mustangs with h&r, sportline springs which all claim a bigger drop and mine is lower than all of them.

i dont see how they could have made it that low with out any mods at all. you would have to cut off atleast one coil if not 1.5 coils. my springs are Tokico and it lowered it 1.5" and i wanted more. so i pulled the front off and cut 1/3 coil off them and now its lowered about 1.75" i know that some places sell inserts that go in between the coils that spaces them. i dont know what to tell you. take a picture of your car. and jack it up and take the wheel off and take a picture of the springs and post them.
