Why don't you just get a hand held tuner. The shift firmness can be adjusted firm enough that I even soften it up at part throttle because it's too firm. I have both the Diablo sport predator and the SCT X-Cal 2. I have my custom tune done with the X-Cal 2 because that's the software my tuner uses for dyno tunes but I'm not totally sure if it's completely done with testing since it's a new product. I do like the Predator also but the X-Cal 2 has more adjustability with shift points. The only thing is you have to make the changes on your desktop and upload the tune to the X-Cal 2 before you then put the tune in the car. Don't bother with any kind of shift kit unless you need a new trans or your trans is broke and it needs work. A handheld tuner is a must with an automatic trans. The shift firmness stock is so weak that even with a completely stock Mustang the trans will slip dramatically at wide open causing more wear on the trans.
