I live in Atlanta and have a 00 5speed vert. My steppop got me exhaust for christmas. I went down to the best muffler shop to have in installed. I wanted the SLP LM2, but then something told me to try out the flowmasters. I love them. I think its one of the best sounds ive heard on a mustang. The only problem with that is that i still have the 2 1/4 pipes. The guy at the shop is gonna upgrade me to 2.5 whenever im ready to put an xpipe on there. Buy im just stoked how good my whip sounds. Just wanted to share with the rest of you. Who else got some Flowmasters, tell me how you feel about em.

they suck. There loud as hell but after 3,000rpm they just die out.. makes me feel puny.

I've got Flows and i love the way they sound. I've got an o/r h-pipe too so it's got a nice deep rumble. It seems to be either you hate flowmaster or you love it...atleast that's how it is on this forum. But i get compliments a lot on how nice it sounds and i don't mind the drone at 2,100-2,300 rpms, it's never bothered me. If you still have the stock h, ditch that and go for an offroad pipe and you'll definetly be happy w/ it.

Definatly one of the best sounding mufflers on a stang! But everyone has them... I love my MAC's. And the SLP is a good add to the Mustang exhaust lineup!

IMO Flows are generic, every Stang out there has them, but if you like them thats all that matters

Magnapacks= Loud but un refined I love my Bassani nice and deep rumble! But the Flows are nice, I got the 3.5 Inch tips with mine came with my catback! Upgrade to 3.5 So sweet!

I love sloppy *** gurgly exhaust. A lot of the "performance" exhaust sounds like honda crap to me.
