hey ive got a 2000 GT with a saleen body kit and intake and exhaust. i have the 3 slot side scoops on my car and im curious if they are slowing me down and if they are something that will hurt me while racing

You have to be going pretty fast before aerodynamics kick in. If they hinder performance then I would say not until you are going about 90-100, and even then it is probably minimal, if at all.

ok thanks. it seems as if they would really catch the air in them and hold the car back. i rarely go over 80 on the highway so i wouldnt really notice a difference but i was just wondering if it would because lately ive been hearing a lot of the aerodynamics of the car really making a diverence above like 110 if your racing someone. i think theyre designed well enough and i know they are only cosmetic but i dont think saleen would put them on their cars if they really made even a very small noticeable difference in the speed and performance of the car.
