I am posting this for my little brother who is going to buy a 04 mach 1. At first he was gunna buy a 04 Mustang Gt but then I told him he mise well go for the mach 1 which he realized after I told him. But what are some really good upgrades for them besides a power adder. Are there any cams, heads, intakes,mafs, throttle bodies for these cars ? I think he has an exhaust system picked out but what do you all think he should do to it first ? He has about 2 grand for upgrades. No power adders!

Depends on what your Bro is into? Most basic things can be done to the Mach 1...Turbo/Super Charger, headers, OR X - H pipe, CAT back exhaust, cams, etc....how deep do you want to go. The Mach motor is pretty good out of the box....You can also upgrade suspension, wheels/tires too...it's pretty endless...Enjoy!!! Oh..BTW...for more indepth info: www.mach1registry.com

Well, lets first open the exhaust and intake, I'd say larger MAF, larger intake tube(maybe c&amp;l true flow) larger single blade throttle body, longtube headers, x-pipe, and magnaflow exhaust...he'll be in high 12's or at least he should be(if he's a good driver)....hell with $2,000 he could probably get a set of cams in addition to that other stuff but I dunno, cams can be expensive (especially since he has 4) then lets move to suspension, nice set of springs and shocks (although Mach's do have a bad *** suspension already so he may not even want to touch it besides maybe some better weld-on full length subfame connectors and some tubular rear control arms) <edited><editID>Black Horse</editID><editDate>37999.7627430556</editDate></edited>

cool thanks guys... ya he already has like his exhaust picked out I think... its either bassani X pipe with bassani exhaust or mac something I cant remember. Either way its gunna be good competition for me </P>
