fuel pump needed on turbo 5.4?
well i am done with my 5.4 building part. the only thing i need to buy is a F-150 throttle cable and plate to hold it($25). and i was talking(on a 5.4 forum) to a guy that has a 5.4 in a t-bird. he said that it will make about the same hp as a PI 4.6, but alot more torque. he added a blower (dont remember which one) and its only at 6PSI and he said that it really work up the 5.4 because they have trouble getting the 18% more air then the 4.6 in while also useing the same heads at the 4.6. so he said a blower would be good. so i was thinking and i dont really want a blown 5.4 because i have(will) alot of torque and want some more hp. so i was reading 5.0 and there is a guy with a 94 5.0 and he made a DIY turbo kit. so i was looking at my car and some other 4.6s that have done turbos and i found a pritty easy way to make it work.
ok back to the point. will i need a new(like have to have) fuel pume/ injectors if i run about 8-10PSI? and can a rebuilt 5.4 handle that? it has a Forged crank, and stock rods/pistons. and 9.5:C/R?
EDIT:
oh ya can you weld to piping onto cast iron(exhaust manifold)?
