dies at idle after hpipe install
anyone know why my car would be running so lean after putting on an o/r h pipe? i have the 02 sensors hooked up and the rear ones disabled. it just sorta dies at idle after a few minutes. i think i might have a small leak but nothing serious. thanks

ya, check ur rpm's and see if they dropped any, i just got an O/R x-pipe and mine dropped 200 rpms, and didn the same thing, because it is so much more free flowing, if it has, just turn the idle screw back up to stock settings...around 850 or so....hope this helps

RE: dies at idle after hpipe install
my idle was at 900 on account of the tune i was using, so i changed it back to stock idle (800) and havent really tried it out much yet, i got some random 02sensors to plug into the holes so ill do that and see if that was the deal.

for me it was something to do with my tune mostly. i still have a pesky leak near the headers but its nothing bad. ill have to get toit later. i switched to my stock tune and it runs fine now. might just be cause the 02 sensors were getting weird readings.

I see that people are saying that this problem is happening after an hpipe install mainly. Basically what i want to know is, if i get an xpipe for my car am i gonna have to go and start messing with my idle adjustments and what not. im not having any problems with my car now and i want to know if im going to have any after the xpipe.
