RE: SLP
Its really a personal preference. I want the loudest sounding mustang on the streets, thats why I am going with a full exhaust consisting of BBK LT Headers + BBK o/r X-pipe + LM1's. This is easily by far the loudest setup possible, and will also produce one of the best setups for HP gains if your interested in HP, which Im not, but just in case someone was.
I posted a sound clip a while ago of a 97' 4.6 Mustang GT with LTs + o/r X + LM1's. You can go to the link here at the bottom and click on his file to download it and listen to it. This clip was the one that sold me on the LM1 Exhaust with LTs and the o/r X-pipe. You will indeed hear that on the revs the car sounds a little bit raspy, but personally I love that because its the one setup that sounds really aggressive and race like. It has that "You can't touch me" kind of sound. The only thing that may sound bad is the revs though. It is LOUD AS HELL and the most aggressive sounding exhaust on the market HANDS DOWN. You can hear how mean it sounds when he pulls away, and thats only in 1st gear... It only gets louder and deeper as you go through the gears!!

RE: SLP
I have to get a catted x, I heard some say the the LM1's aren't as raspy with cats, but if I get the Lm2's I don't want them to be extra quiet, because of the catted x. I want it loud but deep, none of the weed-wacker sound. Will a catted X with Lm2's be too quiet?

RE: SLP
i have a catted X with LM2s. they're anything BUT quiet. inside the car, it's not really that loud, so i thought they were quiet at first. then i heard them outside of my car when my gf rev'd it for me. yeah.. they're definitely not quiet. the LM1s weren't raspy at all on my car when i had them with the same catted X.
