well i signed up on this sit to find out about my intake on a 96 4.6 i have called ford and they said they didnt know about the lawsuit other than customers tellin them(the local ford place),and the one i have is cracked and somone put j-b weld on it and its not leaking where the plastic is but its leaking where the water outlet and intake seal,im wandering if i get a different gasket and put alot of silicone on it would it seal,cuz im a lil low on cash right now,i bid on a new intake for 100,the new ones at a part store are 250,they have they aluminum part on them.cuz the leak is causing hell,my motor is not really running hot but its not building pressure and my fan isnt kicking on(might be another problem)but u turn the heat or somthin on and it kicks on.any one have a good quick fix about the intake stuff i listed.and if this could be the problem with the fan?

I'm with TMG, fix it and get it fixed properly, or you may be looking at buying a new motor if it gets tooo hot.
