I need Head.....and Cam
I was looking at VT Cams, but I have no idea what would be best for my setup. I'm assuming Stage 1, but....um...?
Also, I figured new Cam means I should get new heads. Any recommendations? The only mods I have are listed in my sig. Help/advice would be appreciated. Code3, you need to get better and help me out on this one....

RE: I need Head.....and Cam
Check out VTengines.com for heads, too. Patriot also makes heads. In either case, I think both companies use factory heads and P&P them to death.
Based on what Code has said in the past, you should stick to stage 1 if its mildly modded and is a daily driver. If you go with stage 2, you'll need new valve springs and at lead 3.73 gears (or 3.55, I can't remember).
Comp cams also make products for the 4.6. The XE262AH is a stage 1 with the XE270AH and XE278AH as 2 & 3.
Hope this helps with your decision

I'm keeping my car N/A, though I may go with a light nitrous shot down the line. Stage 1 should be fine. I'll just have to spend some more time at VT and see what they offer...

RE: I need Head.....and Cam
Ok, I know I want to get my cams from VT, most likely Stage 1. I was also looking at getting new heads. I'll keep my accufab plenum for now, but the P-51 intake might not be a bad idea down the line...
My question is, is it more worthwhile to get the heads and cams at the same time, or will it really make a difference if I get the cams first and the heads, say, 6 or 7 months from now?
And everything I read hints that there is not enough difference between the Stage 1 and Stage 2 beyond where in the rpm range the power kicks in. I want to keep my car as a more-or-less daily driver, but I also want to be able to hit the track and leave an impression. Is the Stage 1 still the better choice? That's where I am leaning.
Also, mixed in with all this, I'm looking at getting a set of Baer brakes, front and rear...that'll run just shy of $1000 for the brakes alone. I'll do the install myself which will save a bit of cash.
