aluminum driveshaft???? would it fit
someone on another forum as an aluminum driveshaft out of a foxbody 5-spd for sale.. i was wondering if its the same one to go into my stang or if its different... thanks.

I dont believe it does, the tranny's are different, and for example, Steeda sells two different alum d/s- one for 96-04 and one for 79-95

oh, ok.. thanks for the help. thats what i was wondering. i knew the tranny's were different... but i know a driveshaft from a non PI would fit even though the tranny's are different also.

racer02GTstang, not to steal you thread, well it got anwsered anyways.. you have a vortech right? do you have a after cooler? because those are some good numbers. can you chirp 3rd & 4th?

yea, ive got a vortech with an aftercooler.... i can floor it at about 65 or so in 3rd and spin tires. and i chirp going into 4th at around 90-95mph. i cant even get on it in 2nd much without spinning. the car is a roll racer as of now... haha. my new tires were suppose to be here on wednesday and that didnt work out so well....
when i was n/a i could chirp 3rd pretty damn hard too.
