there pretty much all the same. gains are about 2hp but it helps your throttle response. i bought a cheap metal one (fenderwall style) then i switched to a k&n straight shot. changeing the filter on the fenderwall style really sucks. it took me about 45 min just to put the stupid filter on. that's the only reason why a switched. the feel pretty close to the same. (the k&n is plastic by the way) good luck!!!!!!!!!!!

they are all about the same. its all about how much flow they have. of coarse the metal one will have its downs from the heat, but the air is flowing in so fast that it doesnt make to much of difference. i had a metal fenderwell intake on my car before i switched to the vortech and it didnt do so bad, it had a crappy filter though....

they will both yield about the same gains, however, "ebay" CAI's are not manufactured as well and may break easier. I have an ebay one and have not had any problems.

I bought a tunable induction CAI (densecharger) off of ebay and love it...But I gave alittle under $200 for it...I have heard good and bad about the cheap intakes...Pretty much you get what you pay for I guess...

I would not buy any aftermarket CAI. They are not worth sh*t. The stock one is a cold air intake. A pretty nice one too, and when people take the silencer off it's not anymore. Don't waist your money. Maybe a high flow air filter but that's all I would change.
