Default Damnit, twisted the EGR tube, question?

Well my EGR tube was stuck into my manifold... went to turn it to take it out...instead the piping turned, made a full turn pretty much and is badly kinked. Was thinking of trying to weld it? with a piece of copper over it and cut the kinked section out? Not really sure wtf to do.

There's always a redneck way...plenty of duct-tape! hahaha... You may have to suck it up and get a new tube from a junk yard. This time use WD-40 to help break it loose.

Haha... to show you how tough this bolt was... i used PB blaster... still wouldnt come of with a breaker bar... instead it just kinked the tubing.

U can buy an egr delete plate... then turn the egr off with the predator....

My question is, what would turning off the egr do for you? Any gain in performance?

No it actually hurts gas mileage when cruising and screws up emissions.

Visit junkyards or call Ford. I don't think you can buy a new one aftermarket. My buddy's '93 5.0 had a broken tube and he paid Ford like $90 for a new one. Good luck.
