you guys have to be kidding... you could put heads on after a sc just like you could put a sc on after heads. plenty of stock motors running sc making 350whp.....try doing that with your heads. i would get the sc and get heads down the road if you wish, you will get much more power off the bat.

There was someone on here with a 9psi Powerdyne. I laughed my ***** off b/c he was only making 240rwhp. I must have pee'd myself laughing. I made 261rwhp with NON P&P heads, valve job, but that's about all.

It's a lot easier to do HEADS first, than it is to install the S/C just to take it off to put the heads on.

P.S. There was an article in MM&FF saying that NPI heads weren't so bad, in fact P&P NPI heads outflowed STOCK PI heads.

Show me a 350rwhp NPI motor with no internal/top end work.

He's scared to be posted because he knows he is wrong. These heads are crap and without any work done on them, not much power can be made.

i was wrong. its not the first and it probably won't be the last i thought a guy around here made 350+ but i called him as i just noticed you called me on it and he said that was with only a stock bottom (afr heads, intake). then i did a google search and came up empty...it seems 300 would have been more accurate. i apologize for the misinfo. i still say sc first as i assume he will not be buying heads the next week so that shouldn't be too much of an inconvenience. 96stang im not scared of much and i will never be scared to be wrong

Good man. At least you admitted it. Most of the arguing on here results from too many people trying to defend their position when they know they're wrong. I would say 300 TOPS. I would say if you REALLY want to make power, P&P heads, cams, and full exhaust first. Then buy yourself a KB.
