CAI questions/comments.
hello,
i recently installed a CAI on my girlfriends 01 mustang gt. i purchased it off ebay, and added an nice filter. the fitment was actually very nice, much nicer than the other ebay kits i have bought. i know some people are against them, but i wasnt looking for all out performance, but a cleaner look and hopefully a little more noise. anyways, the filter i put on had a closed end, and points down, so im not to concerned about water. has anyone had any problems with water and their CAI? i mean normal driving, not in shallow water ect. also, she has bassani exhaust, and so far there is no auible difference from the intake, which seems slightly odd. any comments would be appriciated.

nah bro only problem you gonna have is if the water is so high it covers the filter then the water gets in your engine = rebuild time. driving around in rain you will be fine.
