Default Bank 1 Bank 2 Lean

The check engine light tripped on me, so i got the code read and it says bank 1 and bank 2 running lean. from what i've read i'm thinking it's bad o2 sensors? Is there a way i can just do away with the o2's to solve the problem. Because I have now what of telling which ones are bad, atleast one on both sides I'm assuming, and I'd hate to have to buy 4 o2 sensors to make the light go out. the car seems to run fine...any infor would be great! thanks.

I had the check engine light come on my car, and it said mine was runing lean also. I had the guy delete the codes and the light hasent come back. But I installed a MAC straight shot which has an 85mm MAS on it and my computert still thinks it has the stock one on it. So its gettin in more air than it thinks so I am asuming thats why. What modifications do you have done to your car? You cant take out the o2 sensors there critical to your air fuel ratio. I orders a SCT tuner and I am waiting for it so I can flash the computer so it knows I have that bigger MAS.

I have a '96 gt, completely stock with 94K miles. I was mainly wondering if the car is actually running lean or if the made o2 sensor is telling the computer that?
