Hood pole?

Hood pole?
The pole used to hold my hood up is bent pretty badly, from the weight of the hood. Is this a common problem? If I replace it, about how long do you think it would take to bend again? I have been looking for a good excuse to get a new CF hood and I think this might be it.

No clue if its common or not. I dont think it is, but honestly no clue. Also you might check out the hood shocks, or lifts. http://autobadges.com/gashoodshocks/
if you been looking for an excuss to get a CF hood, might as well. Also a some fiberglass hoods are lighter than the stocker about 18-22, compared to the the stocker which is about 40. no clue about the CF hood weight
