Anybody have a clue how much machine work costs?

how much would a port and polish job cost, not counting the actual taking the heads out of the car

The price for this kind of work varies greatly.Some companies do your heads when you ship them to the company.Others keep heads done from cores that they will send you and you send your heads in for the core charge.The amount of detail and whether the work is done by hand or CNC machines also impacts the price.
