Hey guys i was just wondering how much is the dyno test itself? i was also wondering if ne one knows how to research them online? as far as where to go to get one done?

any pepboys or advanced auto's has one out back... nah, im kiddin.

some performance shops have them. check to see which ones in your area have a dyno. for a dyno day or something it can cost like 50 bucks... the cost is like 100 bucks for every hour on the dyno normally.... i would get one on a dynojet for best numbers for bragging but you can get one done on a mustang dyno too... mustang dynos run about 15% lower numbers than a dynojet.

At Sutton Ford HP they charge $300 for the first hour and $100 for every aditional hour but they never charged me over $300. Some places charge a $500 flat rate. Others have $100 dyno time with no tune but you can use your handheld with their advice. I have heard that some tuners are major hacks though. I also heard that to be an SCT tuner you have to really know what you're doing as required by SCT.
