Default black on my wheels

i got out of my car and my friend looked back at me and said that my car was smokeing. when i looked at my car i saw black stuff on my wheels and my brakes were smoking. do you think that it's because of me hitting the brakes to hard or is there something wrong. i was being very hard on the brakes right before i got out of the car.

Your caliper(s) might be sticking. That will cause the brakes to smoke. And it smells terrible.[:@]

100-0?? You slamed on the breaks from 100 that many times in a row? Jesus man, I dont think you saw smoke.. I think that was your car crying for its mommy!

Like I said, I have never seen breaks smoke, but after that many stops.. you might wanna invest in some new breakpads... you might been to the point where you were running on metal, especally if its been a while since they have been changed.
