Default Has anybody used Hawk Performance Brake Pads

Just looking at getting HP brake pads since Mustang brakes are kinda weak. Has anybody used these? They have 3 levels.

1) HPS — High Performance Street
2) HP PLUS — High Performance Street PLUS Race Worthy
3) HP SuperDuty — Automotive & Truck Super Duty

I just order a set of powerslots and Hawk HPS pads. Suppose to be one of the nicest combos out there. I have always heard good things about both.

I bet it will make all the difference in the world. I may be wrong about this but how can the GT brakes be so crappy with a dual piston calipers up front. I bet the pads just suck.
What is the difference between the Cobra and gt brakes?

13" rotor on the Cobra 11" on a GT. But adding cobra stock brakes will add to the unsprung weight. The 13" will give you better elverage but with stock rotors and quality pads, I still think you will take longer to stop then a GT with a nice set of rotors and quality pads. The large size will give better elverage and heat dissaption then the 11" but in a street stituation you wouldn't even notice.
