Does aluminized steel sound diffrent?
Does aluminized steel sound diffrent then stainless steel? Just wondering because my stang is not a daily driver and it will not see much wheather. So would it make a big diffrence to use aluminized steel. I know that aluminized steel is heavier then stainless steel. Or is that wrong.

Aluminanized Steel is the cheap and prone to rotting out. More so if the car just sits. If it is driven short distances it will be gone in less then a year because it will never get hot enough to burn out on the water that collects in a system. Promise
It is worth it to spend the extra cash for the SS. Our cars actually come stock with SS> So aluminaized would be a down grade

^^Are you sure you are thinking of Alumnized steel? Steel was bonded with aluminum specifically for alumnum's resistance to corrosion. Aluminized steel is cheaper to make than stainless steel, but it doesn't collect as much heat. The heat is needed to help extract the burnt combustion gasses.

Common misnomer. The pipe is only coated on the outside. Problem is that exhaust systems rot from the inside out. The aluminum coating isn't used to pull heat it's to protect the steel.
SS is always worth the money when it comes to exhausts.
