Default calipers

before this spring comes i wanted to get my calipers powdercoated the color of my car (red). But, after talking to some people they suggested not doing this because it will eventually wear off and look like crap. Those of you who have done this, have you had any problems with the color fading or peeling? Also, does anybody know where i can get the stock ford calipers in the color red?? i know this will cost a bit more money, but im sure it would be well worth it...thanks guys

I just used high temp. engine enamel paint....there is no need to spend $20 a can for "caliper paint"....high temp engine enamel does the same thing.

Like I said before, I painted mine like this many months ago....and when I was installing my suspension the other day, I took the calipers off and they looked great.

Advance Auto sells a kit for about $30.00 and it's worth every penny. It comes with everything you need. Paint, brake cleaner, a brush, ect. Brush the paint on (trust me on this) don't spray it. Mine look incredible and as good or better than a factory job. Also make sure you do two coats. It's the way to go. Save the money and get the kit. Don't spray as it gets over everything that you don't tape and taping is a pain in the a$$.
