Default Cheap HP mods for a 4.6... i found one

i always hear newbies asking about mods that are free/cheap mods for mustangs well i have found one. an up grade from a stock 4.6 TB(65mm) to a sock 5.4TN (70mm) should be good for about 8HP. i found a used 5.4 Upper Plunum, TB and TPS Sensor, on ebay for $30 shiped. i think $30 for a 70mm is better then a aftermarket 70mm for $200. just thought i would let you guys know.

well i was going to put it on today at school, but i didn't bring the 5.4 gasket(its like a 1/8th inche spacer that has a ruber seal around it, reusable) but eveything looks like it will just go right on. it looks the same just a little bigger.

What shape is it?

Is it the stock rectangular shape? Does it have a smooth round flow into the manifold like most aftermarket ones?

i installed my CIA at the sme time, ya it is a little not a low but im not sure, together its like 10hp or so. i got the the TB off ebay from a PI 5.4 so probably would be good it came with a gasket, it is like a 1/8th inche spacer with a rubber seal. the 5.4 plenum wont work it has a diff shape and you can use a 70mm tb on a stock upper plenum with on mods to it. so a cheap mod to paying $200 for a 70mm or 75mm tb and $38 for a TPS
