NEED ADVICE. I wanted to get some opinions on what I’m thinking about doing to my 2000 Saleen. I have a Vortech Supercharger with out the after cooler.
Well here goes:

Forged Internals
Supercharger Cams
Professional Product’sTyphoon intake manifold (Ported)
42 lb injectors
Long tube headers
90mm MAF
75mm throttle body
Custom tune

I plan on running about 12lbs of boost after all is done.
Does this sound like it will work well?
How much horse power can I expect to the wheels?

If you have it forged then up the boost even more. Thats why you forge your motor!

If I go any higher with out an after cooler couldn’t that cause detonation or heat soak not exactly sure on the terms. I’m kind of new to all this.

Get an intercooler. And run all the boost u want. If you run 12, then you can see 450rwhp all day long. Why did you forge your engine only to run safe power for a non forged engine??????

with all those bolts on and 12 psi i could see you making close to 500 rwhp.

So get another s/c. Get a procharger, or a kenne bell. You can easily see 500-600 RWHP with these superchargers. The kenne bell can also save you money by eliminating the need for a intake manifold. Everything else looks pretty good.

I would hope so. I you have 12 PSI and you're not making close to 500 RWHP, I would be worried a little.
