There is no such thing as a stupid question I think your question has been answered already but if you are considering a supercharger for your Cobra I would highly recommend rebuilding your bottom-end with stronger components. Early 4.6 Cobras are notorious for having weak stock bottom-ends. Just my 2 cents.

Like everyone else said, no the 98 didnt come with a supercharger. I would consider the Kenne Bell, which gives you instant throttle response from a stop and lower rpms. If you have already bought the car than do all the bolt ons and work on your bottom end and suspension and then do the supercharger.
