Question about brakes...
i was looking to maybe get cross drilled and slotted... but i belive it was on here i read that cross drilled are not good for everyday town driving... or stop and go traffic... i forget the reason..
but is this true? would i have anything to worry about if i got cross drilled and slotted for town and DD?

RE: Question about brakes...
drilled/slotted are more likely to crack during normal driving because they are more easily able to transfer heat (heating/cooling hard metals too quickly can cause cracking). if you aren't racing, there is really no point other than they look cool. you'd probably be ok though. also, slotted/drilled will wear your pads faster, supposedly cause of the extra edges.
it's like a catback, buy for looks not for performance.

RE: Question about brakes...
so just slotted rotors are good? he also said slotted are fine... and thats what it was... cross drilled would have a chance of cracking...
well i do have a cobra.. so bigger rotors??? lol.... and i do have quality pads, on the back since there was no pad when i got it... so soon ill have to redo the front... and when i do the pads i might do all the rotors....
so should just slotted be fine?
