Default rims from mustangtuning

I bought Chrome Bullitt 17's a few months ago. They are not exactly round apparently. I have had them all computer balanced, but I get a terrible steering wheel vibration around 45-50 mph. It is so bad I can take my hands off the wheel and see it shaking back and forth. Anyone ever had this problem or have any suggestions? Would an alignment help?

toss them on a balancer you will be able to see any out of round that may be there. it could be the tire more offent than not its a tire problem.

If it turns out to be a defective rim, I'd call up Steve at Mustang Tuning but my guess is that it's either not properly balanced (maybe a weight fell off) or it's something to do with the tires. An alignment couldn't hurt but it won't make an difference if your wheels aren't properly balanced. Also make sure your lugnuts are night and there is no play as well as equal tire pressures.

I bought some dd bullitts and didn't have a problem with them. Try to check out those tires or see if they are balanced and if not call up mustangtuning and send them bishes back.

alignment won't cause any kind of vibration or shake.
