whats the best way to make a 96 gt look meaner

I like the side looks, I am gonna order cobra rims, I'm tryna hunt down the black tailights, not the actually lights like the small section surrounding the lights and I am basically looking for a way to make it look more aggressive or more modern, I like the hood, not feelin the headlights any suggestions

bascially am tryna make it look sexier than a 99-04, dont like the front that much tho

i'd say leave it the way it is and just put that money under the hood. my car looks stock as hell. the whistling under the hood says otherwise though.

you can always lower it. and put a mach 1 chin spoiler on it. it makes it look meaner.

get a new front bumper, cowl or cobra r hood, side skirts, rims and lower it.

i plan on getting the cobra r front and hood with roush side skirts and idk what spoiler
black trimmed taillights and smoked out cobra style headlights

you drive almost the same car as me. I have a 97 GT in the same color scheme. Just leave it the way it is, the money put into body work is better spent on the engine (if you are on any kind of budget , i'm super tight right now) but if you got money to spend I would agree the first thing is lower it. Mine is lowered 2" (guy I bought it from did it) and it looks worlds better. And you get better handling too.

Just be sure if you lower more than 1" you should get a caster/camber kit for the front strut towers! Mine does not have this and as a result I need new tires AND the c/c kit..

The Cobra rims will help put some headlight covers on it, my car looks a lot meanier with them on then off, i get a lot of people looking at me when i have them on. A chin spoiler would look good too. The Chin Spoiler is about 80bucks and i think the covers are maybe 50 not sure prolly cheaper.
