My g/f has an 04 Monte SS & I raped that car like there was no tomorrow! Oh, well, my 02 GT wasn't stock when we raced[&:][8D]. Evenstill, the SOP feeling to me is that the Monte Carlo is smooth & plenty fast, but lacks compared to the GT's grunt. Even the 06's can't run ur GT.
Theres a big difference between the 04's and 06's. I think the 04's have like 205hp and about 225tq, the 06 has 303hp and 325tq. Is your g/f's car the supercharged SS, which only has like 40 more hp, but still is slow. Anyways I still think it will be a good race with you winning.

What all do you have done to your stang? And I know you aint talking about your bike, of course you would win against the monte and mostly any other car out there.

And as far as your quote, most cars are alot safer than a bike is at top speed, so if your racing your bike that fast than your pretty dumb. Not saying you do, but if you do.

Everything except a forged shortblock & supercharger. My car is very similiar to Code3's. The main difference we have are the labels on the brands we used & the fact he went w/a slightly larger bore up to a 283.

As far as what I do with my bike I am not going to get started on this forum in this thread with off topic stuff accept with these following comments. Every bike I have owned I have buried the speedo (96 ZX-6R, 00 YZF R1, 02 GSX-R1000) with the exception of my current one which is still at the shop (06 Gixxer Thou). The fastest my speedo read on the Gixxer was 186mph, but it was still pulling. I did not have my GPS at the time, so it probbly eventually hit 179-182mph by the time I got off the gas. I had a 4 mile stretch so I pulled it all the way. I also qualified for my CCS at Road America in 2003.

I have raced a 04 I think not sure monte carlo ss with my car and it wasnt even race..then they dudes wanted to start **** cause i smoked them.. but with the new 06 I think it will be close of the line but I think you will start to pull through 2nd and 3rd..

As far as gsxrintensity, I think your a dumbass for going that fast on your bike in any condition..BUT I can't complain cause I have a blue and white 02 gixxer 600 and a 05 yellow and black 750..750 is stock..I got undertail, 16 tooth front sprocket, full exhaust headers out..power comander on the 600..I have had it to like 175 on speedo but still had more to go, running out of room and Im sure it was not correct cause i changed the sprocket..but I also am a dumbass the power was there so I had to see what it could do..

Bad04...you are a cat callin the kettle black...you have no room to speak about what I do, because you are as quilty as I am. It doesn't make you dumb. It may make you crazy, but never dumb! I bought my bike to ride it. If you are a poser sell it & buy some car mods. Otherwise get off my a$$, because I think I have a preacher at church whom I can discuss this with. For the record, I do my 3 mile wheelies at 130 in 3rd w/out any regearing. Now...unless you have any 06 Monte SS info for the guy, let's get off my hobbies shall we[]?

I'm not a bike fan and I'm not saying you shouldnt be, but I dont believe you should be doing wheelies and cruising at speeds over 120 on your bike. I've heard and seen to many bike wrecks and I'm sure you have too. Just doesnt appeal to me to go that fast on a bike and ever since my cousin died from a motorcyle wreck, I havent been much into bikes.

Again, I can talk to my paster on Sunday. You have your right to how you feel & I am sorry for you loss, but you are not alone. I have lost four friends to this lifestyle & I have accepted the risks involved. I lost two in 2004, one in 2003, & one in 2002. The one I lost in '02 got killed the day after I showed him a few things on the bike. I swore never to take anyone under my wing again, so don't grill me about how I ride & what I do. I DON'T NEED IT FROM ANYONE!!!!! If there are any other comments about my riding PM me, or find me at Gixxer.com

Chevy should just stop tryin they keep embarassing themselves
Yea bro, GM as a whole is just going downhill. Trying too hard. They have what, 6 garbage "muscle" cars out right now?

I wouldn't worry. Especially if you get 4.10's.
