I'm going to have to agree w/ everyone else. The 05-06's can pull it off, but I kind of chuckle to myself when I see 20's on a stang. It's a muscle car, not an Escalade...

Please stick with a 17 or 18 all others are for gangsters (are you in a gang or do you sell drugs). Get wide wheels not tall wheels my 17 inch 95 cobra r's look great i just wish that the backs were 10.5 wide. Wheels on a muscle car should be made to get the most rubber to the ground, and optomize handling. I think that the looks should be last, and there are many wheels that look great and preform even better, but none of them are 20s.
kinda stereotypical eh??, i think if you have good taste, you will be able to find the wheels you want even if its a bigger size, just look for the wheel that isnt gonna look like cheap fake bling bling type rims, the tires will make a huge difference in how the rims will look, my friend has 20's on that roush and because his tires are a real nice low profile, it looks sorta like 18s or 19s, but lean more toward rims such as (Weld,HRE,Boyd Coddingtons, GFG, Foose, etc.), i see some people are saying no to bigger wheels but its all about the creator of the car, i've seen a couple of z28's and trans am's with the 20in zo6 wheels and ive seen a couple of mustangs around here with 20in. wheels but they are the expensive type not the cheap type, soon as someone mentions 20s everyone thinks your talking about the flashy bling bling style wheels but thats not necessarily the case but personally i'd go with 18in. but if your gonna put 20s on your stang look more towards a Forged type wheel

You are right. If they wheels are not too overly done, I think it could be pulled of, but usually when someone wants 20' rims on the car, they go for the bling bling factor and are usually young kids. Like myself, I'm 19 and I think it could be done, but not with the usual rims everyone here talks about.

Theres this guy that has a 03 cobra with 20" 95 style cobra R's. they look terrible on his car. They are way to big and the sad part is I think if you get 20's you can only go 8" wide. Plus he lowered his car but since the wheels are so large that the car still looks like its a 4x4, just no gap between the fenders. Also your going to have to get new brakes if you get 20's. No way your going be able to stop well with the the stock brakes. I felt a big difference in stopping power just by adding 5 lbs. with a wider wheel. DONT DO IT!! Get 18's mabye 19's if you really want.

the wheels for the 05 wouldn't stick out far enough. the offset on the 05+ is more like a FWD wheel than the previous iterations.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I tend to think 20's look incredible on the mustang with no issues of the wheels sticking out or rubbing.

Nobody should ever put anything bigger than 18" on a pre 05 stang. Now that 05 ^^ looks hella good with those rims. It was funny because when I first got the stang, this guy I knew at work was trying to sell me his 20" chrome rims off his Durango. I was like its a muscle car, not a big body or suv.

OK...well im guessing itd be best to roll with them 18's. I also saw spacers on a mustang website, what will these make my rims look like? How much will i be expecting to pay for tires to fit my 18" rims? And also the opereator on theustang websit told me when i asked how to lower my car, to buy the ford racing c-springs and i wont have to buy anything else for my suspension. I this true?
