Default 20 inch rims??

I just recently bought a 2000 GT and i want 20 inch rims for it. I want to buy rims actually made for mustangs in that size but im not even sure they make them. I saw some on mustangtuning.com but they said they were for the 05's only. When i asked the operator why they were only for the 05's he told me the rim would fit but the offset was different. What does this mean? Does that juts mean they are going to stick out more than normal? If i were to buy a set of these rims what would they look like on my car even though the offset is different?

20's do not look good on 94-04 mustangs. They body styling just does not go right with them. I've seen it personally, and they just look too big. I think you should go with 18's and a nice drop and they would look perfect. They would fit, but since the offset is different, they will stick out farther I believe.

Yea i have a friend that has an 2002 silver gt with flowmasters on it he was going good with the mods then stopped getting mods and wasted over 1200$ on some ghetto 20'inch rims lol. I told him he was retarded. Just doesn't look good on a muscle car

I think it all depends on what type of rims you go with and what kind of tires, that will make the difference, ive seen a Mustang gt lowered with 20in. black bullit deep dish wheels and it looked pretty good and another guy around here drives a roush with 20's they look sorta like the chip foose speedster wheels and they look great on his car, they dont look to big, they actually look like 19s because of the tires he went with, it all depends on your taste in choosing what looks good on your ride

ouch... 20's just look goofy on a mustang to me (dont know about the 05's havent seen one with 20's yet). I would go with a smaller rim 17-18.. and lowering springs to close the wheel gap.. they look a lot shaprer like that I think.

I've got a friend with a 96 or 97 stang that has 20's and it doesn't look bad, I just personally don't think bling bling looks good on stangs. Try some 18 inch cobra type r rims, thats just my opinion.

Please stick with a 17 or 18 all others are for gangsters (are you in a gang or do you sell drugs). Get wide wheels not tall wheels my 17 inch 95 cobra r's look great i just wish that the backs were 10.5 wide. Wheels on a muscle car should be made to get the most rubber to the ground, and optomize handling. I think that the looks should be last, and there are many wheels that look great and preform even better, but none of them are 20s.

like gt96stang said...I think 20's look real good on the 05/06 mustangs...not as good on 99-04....To much rim for them...I think 18's and a drop are the best for the 99-04's...And this is coming from a guy who was going to get 24's on his Titan...

20's would look horrible on a 99-04. The max you should go is an 18" to avoid looking foolish.

I agree, stick with 17's or 18's, 20's would just look wierd, they look good on the 05' saleens tho, they come with 20's stock
