the only thing ive ever seen required for stang 2 cams is at least 3.73 gears and valve springs. Id say go for stage 2. And why dont you save up and do the heads at the same time? That would save alot of labor. Wait on the cams for now and buy some NITROUS!!!!!

You'll need to do some full exhaust work to see real benefits of cams.

This is what I'd get:

Catback exhaust, o/r midpipe, and maybe headers
Eibach Sportlines, c/c plates, shocks, struts, pretty much full suspension
Depends on how much your willing to spend, I would get the exhaust first, than start working on suspension. You can have all the power in the world, but if you cant get it to the ground its no good.
Nice set of DR's

no bottom end, nothing above stage 1 vt, period.

There are several cam threads already explaining why

What all do you have done to your bottom end to be able to handle Stage 2 cams? Just lookin to see whats needed for them.
Thanks

I believe the bottom end needs to be forged in order for the stage 2 cams to really work well.

also, if your thinking about stage 2's and you have a auto you need a certain rpm stall...dont remember what stall exactly, but from what i heard you're better off just getting the stage 1's. The difference from the 1's and 2's isn't that drastic and plus you dont have to worry about springs and such...just me .02
