Default For those w/ tunable induction on a 99-04 GT

Do you prefer the tunable induction cai over the other popular brands, AEM, BBK, C&L, MAC, K&N, JLT, etc.? If so, why? I'm ready to start working on my induction. I won't be going with a s/c, or NOS will be staying n/a.

Tunable Induction has been one of the leaders in the CAI for our cars. The K-N is a close second. JLT is coming on strong.

Steeda = Over priced

Mac = Walmart version

BBK = Sears version

AEM = Belongs on imports.

C&L = Has gotten a slightly bad wrap for their MAF, and the pip is cas aluminum and rough inside.

yeah supposedly the full tuneable induction setup with a tb and plenum combo will net 20-25whp. this was dyno tested by a third party.

I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT!

I have the full tunable induction minus the MAF with a 75mm Accufab and C&L Plenum plus a x-pipe and custom tune and I only put down 245, stock the car put down 224.

I would say a full with MAF set up would be tops 12hp.

Does that mean that the C&L Plenum is bad too?

The whole point in chaing the intake isto smoot the air flow. The C&L is cast and is rough inside. This roughness creates turbulance.
