Not on my '03, it just said 5W-20 (doesn't say anything now cause I got rid of the yellow lettering and repainted the cap)...

most manuals will tell you the capacity in the crankcase, then you have to factor in the filter.

The '01owners manual states 5 Qts. WITH a filter change. I always use 5 and its right at ornear the MAX on the stick. To much oil is a waste and it robs a little HP also, good luck.

Ford increased the capacity in '02 (and I've heard maybe on some of the very late production '01s, the same ones that have the different water pump hub/pulley)...[/align]
