well i want a motor that'll fit in the engine bay, but more importantly i dont wanna spend more than $6500 on it. Im using this car everyday so i dont think i need a 500hp block. I like the mach 1 idea though.

For the cost of that you could have a forged motor that can handle 800 hp. I've heard some good things about MMR, livernois, and VT.
