well i want a motor that'll fit in the engine bay, but more importantly i dont wanna spend more than $6500 on it. Im using this car everyday so i dont think i need a 500hp block. I like the mach 1 idea though.

Don't get a mach1 crate engine. For the cost of that you could have a forged motor that can handle 800 hp. I've heard some good things about MMR, livernois, and VT.

I have a KCR crate engine, $4,200 for 375hp/375 torque. Worked great so far with the vortech.

I guess the internals are forged on that engine and how much boost do you run with that engine?

Keith Kraft builds some great engines. They built us a Stroked LT1 that was mild and still putting over 400 to the ground. We couldn't blow it.

Youd also have to get a hood with more clearance to make it fit though
