Default fipk & c/b exhaust

Looking for a little help from my fellow stangers. I have an '02 GT aod. I plan on using an FIPK for K&N. Let me know is anyone has used it and what you think.
I also plan on putting on a catback exhaust (stainless steel of course), i have heard good things about bassani, but havent heard one yet. I'm looking for something that sounds great all around, but is not too much. I want to be able to have a conversation with someone in my stang, but want to hear the car too. I dont want the old 5.0 sound. Any suggestion would be great. Thanks.

the FIPK is a good kit, as far as exhaust magnapacks are what i have, and alot of people really like them. they have a quiet rumble to them at idle, cruising around town they sound really good, not a real deep drone, but there is a drone. then at wot they scream really loud. as long as i have a mustang i wil never even consider another exhaust set up.

i had the bbk cold air (fenderwall style) and i replaced it with the k&n fipk. with the fenderwall style it's a real pain to change the filter and thats why i switched. they were both the same in my opinion, it just helpled throttle response not much hp. i have the magnaflow exhaust. it's a little louder than stock but not much. i had flowmasters before and they drone really bad around 2-2.5 k. i had them on for 1 day i hated them that much. hope this helps

The Bassani catback are like Flowmasters, except louder, and with a little less drone. They do have a nice sound. There's a red 02 with a bassani catted X and catback. Sounds a lot like mine, except louder. I have the stock catted H, and a flowmaster cat back.

Stingers aren't for the faint of heart IMO. I love mine, those canister mufflers make it deep. Cruising and shifting under 2k the car sounds great, but on the interstate cruising between 75 to 80 is annoying. If you do most of your driving around town, they are great. I love the looks I get when I take it to high rpms around town. I like mine because not too many people have them and they are noticably a quality product.
