Default Need new ideas

Okay, car feels like its slowing down, i know its not but i guess im just starting to get used to it. So i need something. But im not sure what. I already have a Full Bassnai System, CAI, and a Short throw shifter.

I was thinking about maybe puting getting a tuner, but im note sure yet. I need something that will give me a little extra, but at the same time leave a little extra in my wallet...Insurance is a biotch.

And im not trying to go full out on it yet.

Im at 286 rwhp and 302 rwtq

I want 300 rwhp....

Any sugestions?

First get 4.10s or 4.30s. They won't add any HP but they are about the best mod for a Mach 1 in my opinion.

Most people are going to recommend the flash tuner they use. Both the Diablo Predator and SCT XCal 2 are good. If you're going to get a dyno or custom tune, use the flash tuner (SCT or Diablo) that will work with your favorite shop's software.

Yes, but fifth gear is somewhat of a a dog because there's a 0.62 OD ratio instead of the 0.68 (or is it 0.67) used in the with the GT.

I guess thats ok though since you wont get out of 4th at the track. I held it in 3rd through the 1/4 once, hit the traps at 6500rpm, my limiter kicks in at 6700 now. I lost 2-3 10th's doing that obviously but just wanted to see.

If you want to go quicker, get some 4.10s, as mentioned before though doesn't add any more hp. The guys are right about the tuner too. You mentioned you had a CAI, maybe consider getting a bigger tb with a better plenum.

500 gets you a set of gears installed. 1200 gets you a 100 shot installed . Wish I had gone that route.
