It will stabalize the back more around turns and such.

yeah i keeps your body from bending at hard turns, i don't know if you'll notice much differance without the complete suspension change. But go for it and let me know how it turns out

It probably does the same job as the front strut tower brace some of us have under our hoods. Couldn't hurt if you were road/track racing.

It's probably better than not having it but I don't think it'll make as much of a difference as the other chasis stiffeners. Plus it'll likely get in the way of trunk space if that's important to you.
