I heard somewhere that on the 96-98's I would benefit more from 3.73's, is this true or should I stick with 4.10's?? Alos what do most shops charge for an install?

4.10+ is the way to go ! Most ships charge between $200-$300 dollars But some do it for like $150-$200... depends on where you live.

Or save your money on the gears and pulleys and go with a blower. Way more power. You can go crazy with bolt ons, headers, gears, pulleys, MAS, plenum.... and never even get a tenth of the HP you can get from a SC. You will be quiceker than a stocker, but for all the money you invest you won't smoke the crap out of him. I did the same thing and felt some disapointment. It sucks watching a camaro or vette pull away from you after just put 5 bills into your car. OUr engines aren't the biggest but they love it when you let them get some air.
